Job/ Occupation:

Likes:

Fruits/Nuts: He prefers to eat food he’s gathered himself. Then he doesn’t have to question if it’s possibly tampered with. With the company he keeps it wouldn’t surprise him if he did somehow end up drugged.

Light Rains: Helps him sleep at night

Art: He has a great appreciation of the struggling artist that take their work to the streets. He’s been known to leave a few extra coin for them when he passes by if he can spare the generous motion. (artsins include dancers, weavers, painters, seamtress, carpenters, metal workers (cause weapons can be art too), and several other crafts).

Dislikes:

Burnt/ Hot foods: He has a cat’s tongue so he can’t eat anything that is above room tempt.

Humidity: Normal attire for a man that’s used to the mountains consists of several layers. He’d prefer to leave them on for simple comfort reasons yet hot days force him to shed his coat. Plus….it’s just hot man.

Bragging: So you did something right. Big whoop. It's alright to congratulate yourself and be excited over an accomplishment but don't rub it in people's faces.

The extreme silent and secretive type Yuuda finds no actual need for human interaction. His job normally would be considered dangerous and unlawful to those blessed with a sound mind so making friends is a tricky business. Well rounded in fending for himself and surviving he seems very knowledgeable when living the rough life and capable of defending himself. Over protective of the very few close comrades he has he takes on a mother hen air, passively teaching them skills as situations come along and unknowingly to himself trying to provide a better life experience than he has had. Doesn’t mean he won’t leave them high and dry if they upset him as a gustier of punishment.

History:

Born in a small village he was raised by only his mother, the local healer, along with his younger sister.  Him never knowing his father in person when the topic ever arose it was quickly diverted leading him to believe at a young age that he simply didn’t have one nor did he need one. Not till he was older did he learn through rumor that part of his parentage had most likely been a military man that had died on the field of honor. With this idea in his head at a young age he set plans to join the military of the great Empire, playing war with pretend enemies and using whittled sticks as swords.

Unfortunatly a severe drought killed the crops along with drying out the local water source, the villagers becoming distraught. With the rumors growing during the misery of the people they all finally came to the conclusion that this was the work of witchcraft. They had heard of these villians preying on the innocent and started pointing fingers. The one person that this all added up to was the most reclusive person of the village. Yuuda’s mother was quickly deemed a witch doctor over a healer, her reputation plummeting from a miracle worker to a vile demon looking to destroy them all. Additionally she was from the race known as messengers of disaster, Absols. At a young tender age of twelve Yuuda spoke out against them when they came with wood and fire to his door step. Preaching to them all she had done for them didn’t sway their opinion, his words being twisted by their disparity to end the misfortune they were suffering. Blinded by anger and influenced by old stories with little fact to them they rationalized that killing the witch would bring the rain. Yuuda was quick apprehended, tied to a post outside of his home while the rest of the villagers barricaded the doors and window. With no mercy they set the home of the Sota’s ablaze, the young boy helplessly watching from the outside and unable to save both his mother and younger sister. He was left to hopefully starve by the people, them cursing him as they left while praising themselves for the wonderful work they had just done.

His voice had done nothing against them, him slowly fading into the belief that it was useless. If only he had been bigger and better trained. He could have defended his home with action and not been left to scream for mercy. As an added mockery after a day and a half of being stuck to the pole in front of the ashes of what once had been his home the sky began to cry. The fates seemed to be finding his mother and sister’s misfortune as a joke giving the villagers just what they wanted..an end to their horrid thirst.

Through a struggle and desperate desire to live the young absol eventually escaped his prison, running away from the village while cursing them to an eternity of misery.

The rest of his history is rather secretive. Some say he followed his dream to become a military man and still continues to serve while others say he is a mercenary out for vengeance. Others claim he died that day of the Witch Fire (as is called the day of his family’s death) and some say the child haunts the village stealing children from their mother’s womb. These are all rumors of the witch doctor’s son and hold no fact to them. Yet Yuuda has no issues with people believing these folk tales, them hiding what he truly grew up to become.

A thief of information for the Tsuda clan; a self proclaimed band of criminals that take from the higher social class to help support the poor citizens. Wondering around starved as a child the leader of the Tsuda’s took the boy under his wing to teach him everything he had to offer. Growing comfortable in the life style of his adopted family he now works as a thief of information. Gathering up any stories that could help the Tsuda’s stay invisible while sniffing out dogs getting to close to the truth of the clan he has sworn to protect the misfit clans’ way of life and ensure its future.

Yet for some reason he has come to be stuck with a rather familiar face to continuously be plagued by bizarre adventures and uncomfortable encounters. How could things get any worse…..

Relationships:

Not any that he would like to speak of….and those he could speak of as friends he doesn’t claim (you know who you are)

Additional Information:

-always sleeps rather bundled up. He’s managed to lug two throw blankets around with him at all times and doesn’t share them-

-Loves hugs but won’t admit it. He’s secretly a fan of affection yet won’t openly admit he likes being close to others-

-favorite season is winter. Reminds him of home in the mountain range at the edge of the Hollows-
