Rubies (claims they taste best), hugs, people playing with her hair, cat naps, light rains.

Dislikes:
Bright lights, liers, people reading over her shoulder, board games, arts and crafts (cause she stinks at them), being wet, down pours.

Personality:
Arisu is a leap before she looks type of gal and usually does what ever she wants when she wants if there is no one around to forcibly correct her. Permission to do things isn't something she tends to worry over only adding to her rude impression. "Honesty is the best policy" is the golden rule she does run by though so her conversations are rather blunt and some times offending to others. Personal space is also nonexistent to her....a.k.a she's hug complete strangers and cling rather closely to her friends.

History:
Her childhood was considered normal to what she had been raised to expect. Annoying when she couldn’t walk, more annoying when she conquered the task of grabbing things, and a thorn in most of her family’s side when she realized she could walk on those two things everyone claimed were legs. Arisu was a rather troublesome child with her venturing out on her own whenever she would spot something shimmering in the distance. Needless to say she was quite a glutton and would often become easily lost when the family migrated through the caverns to find a new vein of jewels for food. It wasn’t till she grew into her teens did she start to mature a bit but it also became a turning point in her life.

Arisu wasn’t an only child by any means, her having three older sisters. They were each a year apart while she trailed behind by five. These three were always together and during Arisu’s younger years had been constant figures to her. But there was one of these three that became Arisu’s rival in a way. The eldest of the Sableye sisters had by some stroke of luck managed to fine a massive vein of their main source of food: jewels. Through more random strokes of luck she continued performing miracles that were honestly just coincidence. As she became older she soon started taking up practicing theories in medicine only adding to her reputation as a saint. Arisu had become accustom to the praise that her elder sister would receive when she was younger, not really knowing what it was all about till she became jealous of the attention the eldest was receiving when she became older. She started seeing the whole thing as a misunderstanding that had gone too far yet it was at the point where she could do nothing about it. It was rather obvious that the other two were more or less slaving under her to be recognized in the family meaning they would defend the eldest against anything. Her parents even attempted to keep her held on a pedestal which only led to Arisu spiteful surrender. At this time Arisu became rather distant and independent, not caring to be lumped in with her sisters. It was only a sibling rivalry that seemed to grow as her sister excelled in ranking that rivaled the elder. The jealously hit it’s peek when the sister did go against the elder and managed to win with her becoming the main decision maker of the family.

Coming to live with her grandmother after fighting the reputation of her sister is was a dayly activity to listen to her elder’s stories of the outside world. The family lived in the cavern and found no need to come in contact with outsiders. But Arisu only saw the outside world as a farther escape from the family, becoming all around tired of their way of mythical bound life that had no logic to it anymore it seemed. A possible new start a place where people would know of her blessed older sister and her two slaves.

Hence where she is today with her taking up a natural born hobby, looking for jewels and anything that might be of value. Other than jewels she also enjoys looking for old relics, literature, and things that tell a story. But the family is still a large part of her life, her finally coming to terms with her sister’s lucked out successes. Yet she does not see her sister as anything special and has come to actually stand on equal ground with her. While her sister holds a standing of the ways full of myth Arisu is seen as a connection to the outside and reality. Arisu keeps the family well informed of the happenings of the upper world that keeps them up to date with the times. She also brings back supplies such as medicines when needed along with tales of her adventures. These medicines are usually seen as bewitched by her family and strange yet they have come in handy on occasion. But this way of life doesn’t come without rules and if she breaks one she will be banished from the family. No one under any circumstance is allowed to know of the family’s location. If she is asked about her family she usually shrugs the topic off and never brings up the subject. She won’t even ask about other’s families in fear of them asking of her own so she doesn’t have to lie.


Additional Info

-Yes~ Her eyes do seem to glow in dim to no lighting.
-If you don't wake her up a certain way she's a demon from hell for a few hours towards you and no one else.

-Is a pure blooded Sableye do to her family's seclusion in the caves she was born in.

Relationships (for now just with my other characters cause I'm lazy and can't remember everyone she's met OTL):

Yori Satoshi (WIP): She considers their relationship a forced co-existence at the moment seeing how he just won't leave her house. He's rather useful seeing how he sews better, cooks better, cleans better, hunts better...well...is better at every when compared to Arisu. This is what aggravates her about him though seeing how she can never best him. He doesn't see this as a competition but he will occasionally admit that he enjoys the superiority he's slowly earning in the house as the main provider. Arguments are one sided with Arisu flaring and him listening with a 'I really don't care' expression. Arisu does find the witch doctor interesting though with his herbal remedies, odd traditions, and what she calls a 'wild kind of beauty to him'. She won't admit it but she hates being envious of a man with his sense of style and calm composure to everything.
